Otis is looking for his forever home, Here’s what his foster Mamma says about him🩶
Otis has calmed a lot since we first picked him up. Otis is 3years old, and sadly, he doesn’t realise how big or strong he is and still thinks he’s a puppy. He loves to jump up and greet everyone who comes to the house or people he meets out on walks. This is getting better with training, but whoever takes this gorgeous boy on is going to have to continue this.
Otis previously lived with other female Frenchies and has lived in Foster with a female frenchie. He likes to be cuddled up with her at night and, in the daytime, likes to be close to her or he will whinge. Due to this, I feel it is important for him to live with another frenchie.
Otis had been crated for 23 hours a day for at least 4 months prior to us taking him in to foster. He had been toileting in his crate, initially he was scared to even go in the back of our van, this has improved massively with time and trust and knows he goes for a walk when he goes in the van.
Toilet training is going well.
Otis does pull when being walked on a lead, but this has got better with time and training, but again, with continued training, I believe this will continue to improve. This boy is just excited to out and that he is no longer stuck in a crate.
Since being fostered Otis has had free Rome of the downstairs of the house and sleeps well downstairs with our frenchie. Due to his background we haven’t crated him as I feel this would distress him and probably slow down his training.
Otis is such a loveable, excitable dog, and if we didn’t have a small baby, we would be keeping him ourselves.
He will make a loving family member and he will always be happy to see you.

I just want to say that I personally have not seen many rescues that go above and beyond the way TRDN does. From the founder to the volunteers and the people who donate to this rescue, they have one of the best support systems possible for a rescue. They truly put the DOGS first. I have followed and supported this rescue for a few years now and am truly amazed by them each and every day. There is a great network of people who pull these dogs from some of the most dangerous and deplorable conditions imaginable. The dogs are brought in and given the best care from the get go….they are fully vetted, bathed and pampered. They are put in foster homes that know the breed and cherish each little personality that comes into their care. I am PROUD to say that I am a TRDN supporter !!! You guys ROCK !!!
Amazing group of caring wonderful people. Have adopted 3 great dogs, any time I has a question I feel comfortable calling or reaching out to rescue to help.
This is the most wonderful rescue! They work so hard to save so many dogs and work diligently to have them placed in the best homes. I adopted my frenchie from cfbr..she was so sick and barely made it through the night when rescued. With the right medical care and love they saved her life. She has brought my family so much love and joy. I am forever grateful to this wonderful rescue!!
